September Meeting

The Montgomery Beekeepers Association will meet on Thursday, September 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Independence Community College West, at 2615 West Main Street in Independence. This meeting will be a fun and informative meeting where we all share our mistakes and disasters while working with our bees, and how we learned from these mistakes. Bring all your stories, including ones that you think are dumb or embarrassing, because we have all been there and learned valuable lessons from our mistakes. These stories may give confidence and learning points to new beekeepers who will also have their stories. There will be discussion time for various points of view, as we can all share the different methods that work for us and possibly learn better ways of beekeeping. We encourage and welcome anyone interested in honeybees to come enjoy the program and meet our beekeepers. A door prize relating to beekeeping will be given, and refreshments will be served after the program.
