"JunkFest" - Declutter and Dropoff Donations

Ready to declutter?

Bring your clean and gently used items that are ready to send to the thrift store to our Friends of the Library's "JunkFest." (We say "junk" but please save your garbage or non-working items for the Lions Club Spring Cleanup on April 25th. We're looking for the stuff you want to unload that is "in too nice of shape to throw" but you want it out of your house.)

Drop off items on Friday, February 27 from 10am - 3pm or Saturday, February 28 from 9am - 12pm.

Accepting:
- clothing
- shoes
- books
- toys
- DVDs
- home decor
- kitchenware

We can not accept:
- appliances
- VHS tapes
- aerosols or other chemicals
- encyclopedia sets
- anything too heavy to pack inside a box
- children, spouses, or other living creatures

Your donations turn into money for the Friends of the Library. Books and DVDs will be pulled for our book sale the following week. All other donations will be sorted and shared with local nonprofits to restock the area community closets before being sent to Savers. Our Friends of the Library are a Savers FUNDrive organization, so they'll receive a set price per pound of donations brought in.
