“I like the resources and how they can be tailored… to (the clients) learning style and what they need.”
“There is lots of science… but it’s presented in such a way any person could understand it.”
“I really like the balance. It’s real and applicable. It’s a heavy topic but it has a lovely balance.”
CROSSROADS is a trauma-informed, reflective parenting program for parents and carers of children who have experienced domestic and family violence. The tools and resources provided are evidence-based, built on experiences shared by real families and children.
This evidence-based reflective parenting program was developed through Queensland Government funding as a partnership between Inala Community House and Red Rose Foundation.
Anyone who has completed the two-half day Train the Trainer can use CROSSROADS to support the parents and carers they work with. You can use the program flexibility either one-on-one or in a group setting and use as much or as little of the content to meet your parents/carers needs.
You are recognised as a CROSSROADS trainer for parents and carers you are working with. You are not permitted to train other practitioners as this must be done by qualified CROSSROADS train the trainers.
