Learn how to spot their tracks, understand their role in our ecosystem, and discover the challenges they face in the wild.
Mark Lotz is a panther biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. His primary duties include capturing panthers to monitor population characteristics for genetic restoration and conservation and managing human-panther interactions. He also is the president of the Wild Felid Research and Management Association; a nonprofit organization focused on promoting conservation of wild felids in the Americas.
