The Workshop

Your tutor, Beth, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Learn simple wire twisting techniques to create a beautiful crystal gem tree. Using copper wire and crystal chips, I will show you how to create the branches and blossoms for your tree, and then attach the roots to a stone ready for planting or displaying however you wish. A variety of gemstones will be available for you to choose on the day, such as rose quartz, amethyst, lapis lazuli, aventurine and clear quartz. A choice of different coloured wires will also be available.”

What skills are needed?

Making your Love Tree is a very simple technique, so can be achieved by total beginners. It requires ability to grip a small gemstone chip and twist fine wires, so if you have poor fine motor skills it could be a challenge. Beth says “most people can manage it though”.
What are the timings?

This is a relaxed, morning running from 10am to 12.30pm.

Our purple front door will be open from 9.30am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Beth and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.

What is the cost?

£35 + 79p card fee. This includes all the materials needed to make your exquisite tree, drinks and biscuits during the morning (excluding lunch)
