The MMH Foundation is excited to announce the 1st Annual MMH Health & Wellness Expo, along with a 5K Color Run/Monster Dash, a fundraising event dedicated to enhancing healthcare initiatives for our patients and this community. This expo will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in front of the McCurtain Memorial Hospital, bringing together health professionals, wellness experts, and community members for a day of education, inspiration, and connection.
The MMH Health and Wellness Expo aims to raise funds that will directly support our ongoing efforts to improve patients care and community health services. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of health-related topics, participate in interactive demonstrations, and engage with local vendors offering wellness products, information, and services.
There will be Vendors; Food Trucks; DJ by Chris Gunn Events; Classic Car & Truck Show "Cruising for the Love of Lillian Foundation" hosted by Layne & Leigh Blagg; Costume Contest, Yoga Classes instructed by Kathy Brown, MS, SET, CPT; Giveaways; Health Checks/Screenings and so much more...
***25% of the proceeds will go towards the "Love of Lillian Foundation." The Love of Lillian Foundation is dedicated to supporting the youth and families through various initiatives, and all of their proceeds go right back into the community. We are honored to partner with the Love of Lillian Foundation in remembrance of Lillian Elizabeth Patterson and her motto - "Be Kind...Be Brave...Be Wild!"

Info: All participants will be emailed at least (10) days prior to the event with a location and time for Check-In. This will be the time all participants pick up their Swag Bags with the race items.

Info: Join us for Yoga on the Lawn, during the MMH Health & Wellness Expo. It is designed to promote health and well-being!
This event is perfect for beginners, so don't worry if you're new to yoga. Come and enjoy a peaceful morning on the hospital lawn with our experienced instructor guiding you through the practice. All body types and fitness levels are welcome – this is a body-positive space where everyone can feel comfortable and supported.
What to Expect:
- A guided yoga session tailored for beginners.
- An opportunity to connect with others in the community.
What to Bring:
- A mat is necessary.
- Comfortable clothing suitable for yoga practice.
- Water bottle to stay hydrated.
Info: Kathy Brown is an Exercise Therapy Specialist and a Certified Personal Training with
over 15 years as a professional in the fitness industry. Her educational background
includes business as well as health and wellness. She is a Certified Texas Educator
with a BBA in business education, and has obtained a Master’s Degree in Fitness/Sport
Management. Kathy has also earned several certifications including a Specialist in
Exercise Therapy, Stretch and Flexibility Coach, and Physical Therapy Aide. She is the
owner of Stretch Therapy Studio in Paris, TX, where she works with individuals to help
them restore muscular and skeletal function as well as correct impairments to improve
their overall well-being. She accomplishes this by helping her clients improve their
flexibility as well as range of motion through gentle stretching and agility exercises for
the joints. When she is not working with individuals at her studio, Kathy teaches group
fitness classes including Pilates, Yoga, and Core Trai
Info: The 2025 Classic Car & Truck Show, "Cruising for the Love of Lillian Foundation," is hosted by Layne & Leigh Blagg, and will be a part of the MMH Health & Wellness Expo event. Vehicle registration starts at 8:00 a.m., on lower level front parking area of MMH. Judging begins at 10:00 a.m. $25 entry fee. For More Information, contact Layne or Leight Blagg at (580) 579-0900.
