About Hyrum Explorer’s: Hyrum Explorer’s meets the second Tuesday of the month and invites kids to step into the roles of curious young scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and artists. Each session encourages critical thinking, creativity, and discovery through hands-on activities with peers. Space is limited, so check back often for registration dates! Registration is required, and space is limited.

October 14th Session - Astronomy
Hyrum City Civic Center: 83 W Main St, Hyrum, UT 84319
Second Tuesday of the Month at 6PM

We will talk about the different types of telescopes and what you can see with them . This would include talking about objects in our solar system, comets, and some deep space objects. I would also talk about newer technologies in telescopes and how these are changing the astronomical hobby.
