Come help us survey for valuable insect populations in on our natural areas. What will we find?

Join us as we learn the FUN-damentals of species identification. We will learn how to identify some of the insects at Hypoluxo Scrub Natural Area by learning how to spot their unique characteristics. Guidebooks with pictures will be provided to help us learn species names. By learning how to spot their unique characteristics, we’ll all be thinking just like biologists!

Please bring your water, appropriate clothing (hat, hiking shoes/boots, long-sleeved shirts and pants for bugs) and bug spray. Restroom facilities are not available at this site.

Please no pets or unaccompanied minors.
