OPENING WEEKEND 2025!

Although parts of the farm are still under construction, we have decided to make a soft opening event for the weekend of October 11th & 12th, starting each day at 12:00pm and running until 4:30pm.

The first phase of the railroad (the 7 1/2 inch narrow gauge loop) will be in operation with a special visiting steam engine from Virginia as well as own of our own steam locomotives (engine #7) pulling trains around the loop. Our 10 1/4” gauge British built steam locomotive #2 will be on static display for visitors to tour, take pictures of/with and some of our model train layouts in HO scale & N scale will be on display/in operating. Our store will be both alpaca products (made from the fiber of our own animals) and model trains/accessories. In addition to the fun railroad related exhibits during the weekend, there will be animal encounters with some of our llamas, alpacas, sheep & goats.

Entry is free, but train rides and animal encounters are not and will be available for purchase at our ranch shop. Train rides will be $5 per person while animal encounters will be $3 per person.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**

Please be advised that during this phase of the farm construction, parking is limited and our drive/lot will be closed periodically when the area is full. The drive is one-way. We would also like to make you aware that for your safety as well as for the safety and comfort of some of our rescue/special needs animals, there will be several areas of the farm off-limits to visitors, so we ask you to be aware of and obey the information signs and instructions from staff/volunteers.
