The Bedford County Players Announce Auditions for “Steel Magnolias” by Robert Harling and Directed by Thalia Fleetwood

​Auditions: August 17th & 18th at 6:30 p.m. at Bedford County Playhouse, 1044 Centerville Road

​Performances October 3, 4, 10, & 11 at 7:30 p.m. - October 5 & 12 at 3:00 p.m.

​6 Female Roles Available, All Ages

​The play is set in a beauty salon, where all the ladies who are “anybody” come to have their hair done. This tightly-knit band of friends, confront griefs, loss, life's unforeseen tragedies and heartaches with what they do best: gossiping and sharing. They realize that their mortality affects the others, but also draws on the strength -- and love --that gives the play the special quality to make them truly touching, funny and marvelous company in good times and bad.
