Create your own story book for 4+ YRS

"You and I in This Beautiful World” is a joyful workshop where a child and caregiver build a picture book together.

Through scribbles, words, and laughter, they practice self-expression, connection, and storytelling. They will carry home a handmade book full of heart.

In this safe space, art doesn’t need to be perfect ,it’s about feelings, fun, and family time, wrapped into a story you can hold.

The session encourages creativity, emotional wellbeing, and SEL (social-emotional learning) through guided prompts that explore imagination, gratitude, empathy, and joy. Each child–caregiver pair will co-create a picture book that becomes a keepsake memory of their beautiful world together. Little Hands ,big stories- Draw, doodle, and dream together. The Bookmaking Kit - Every child and caregiver pair will receive a specially curated Bookmaking Kit to help them create and carry home their own picture book.

Each kit includes:

1. A blank book with a customised cover

2. Crayons, markers, and collage materials

3. Stickers and playful extras for decoration

4. A contents card with tips and encouragement

Designed to be simple yet beautiful, the kit ensures that families leave with a finished keepsake book full of heart a memory of art, laughter, and storytelling made together.

Anusha Veluswamy is an award-winning children’s author and the founder of The Little Dipper Publishing, an independent house for culturally rooted and compassionate stories. Her books, including Where is Mr. Thookam? and Maari – A Gift from the Skies, have won multiple national prizes and are loved by readers across India. Currently a psychologist-in-training, Anusha combines her background in mental health and storytelling to design workshops that nurture creativity and emotional wellbeing. She also mentors aspiring writers, supporting them in finding their voice and shaping meaningful stories for children.
