Prairie Nutcracker

A uniquely Kansas adaptation of Tchaikovsky's traditional Nutcracker. Set in 1869 Kansas, this century's new holiday tradition made its debut in 2000 at the Fox. Prairie Nutcracker is the perfect heart-warming American celebration for the heartland's holiday season. It features an enchanting musical score masterfully adapted from Tchaikovsky by Boston composer, Rick Kuethe, a native of Omaha, Nebraska. Join us as Prairie Nutcracker celebrates its 16th performance season. For those familiar with the show, you will be pleasantly surprised with the little additions that have been made. A delightful and wonder filled holiday gift for the whole family. This highly anticipated theatrical event is produced by the Prairie Nutcracker Foundation of Hutchinson, Kansas.
