Summer Reading Club (3-5 year olds)

About This Event:

There’s nothing hotter this summer than the Georges River Libraries limited-edition Summer Reading Club! Join us at Westfield Hurstville Summer Club (Level 4 rooftop, near Event Cinemas) to celebrate reading, chill with new friends, and create sweet crafts to take home with you.

Story Time meets summer fun in a one-off Summer Reading Club session for children aged 3-5 years old and their carers. Come along for books, songs, craft and activities that celebrate an Aussie summer!

Library staff will be available at each session to help you sign up for the Georges River Libraries Summer Reading Challenge, 1000 Books Before School, and our school holiday programs. If you have reached a milestone badge in the Summer Reading Challenge or 1000 Books Before School programs, you can collect any relevant prizes from the Summer Reading Club events for your age group!

Terms and conditions:

• For participants aged 10 years and under, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program. For safety reasons, one parent/guardian can only be responsible for a maximum of 4 children (1:4 ratio).
• For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking.
• If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces, repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations may result in bookings being refused in the future.
• The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
