PWC Ladies Group Outing – August 23, 2025
First off let me Thank Rhonda Gentle for finding this event and bring it to our Ladies Group! She along with many of you and myself are ready for a Ladies outing and I believe she has found the perfect one!!!

We will be attending the Going Beyond Live with Priscilla Shirer Women’s Event at the Von Braun Center in downtown Huntsville. This event is an all-day event with doors opening at 8:00am and ending at around 3:45pm. We will try to meet together in a designated spot to go in as a group, since seats are not assigned only to groups of 50 or more! Put we can pray we get 50 excited women to go!
The event is broken down into 3 sessions with a lunch from 11:00am to 12:45pm. There is also a break between the 2nd and 3rd session. There is a box lunch provided for purchase up to two weeks before the event for a cost of $20.00. This includes a gourmet turkey and cheese sandwich, bag of chips, fruit, dessert, and a bottled water. There are no substitutes available. Our lunch order must be in before August 9th. As of now VBC does not allow food or drinks to be brought into the facility. There are restaurants within walking distance they said to VBC, I will do research to find out exactly what those are and I will update you all later on those options. They said no bagged lunches can be brought in no matter what…sorry.
Price and how to register and pay:
Ticket price $70.00 – this is an exclusive group rate because we have 5 or more already planning on attending. If you buy on your own, it will be $85.00.
Prepackaged Lunch Box - $20.00
There are small fees and taxes that we will also be charged. So, we are thinking the total for a ticket and a box lunch with taxes and fees will be right around $98.00. Again, you do not have to buy the lunch. As of speaking to VBC they did not know if the concession stands would be open for this event yet. If you look this up on their website, you will not find it yet because it has not been confirmed through the group that is bringing her here, which is Lifeway. I have spoken to Lifeway, and they have reassured me she will be here they are just working out the fine details with VBC, they said tickets where actually selling extremely fast and that we will be in the main arena!!!!
Josiah is making it so you can make payments through the church service app, thank you Josiah. You can do it in 1, 2 or 3 payments. Please make sure all money is paid by August 15th. Jinger will be purchasing all tickets through the Lifeway website which she has registered for in order to get the group rate. All tickets will have to be purchased through her and the account she has set up. Tickets cannot be bought at VBC according to them. This event we must go through Lifeway.
So, I need you ladies to go into our PWC church center app and Register!!! You can invite ladies from outside of our church, and please do if you know of someone who would love to attend with us. You will register them under your name in our church app. I will need you to have them pay either cash or write a check to Parting Waters Church with a memo that says it is for this event. Again, they can make payments! Make sure you keep your payment separate from theirs, so we know whom has paid please.
