Meet at Big Ed's Pizza Huntsville on Wednesday at 5:30 pm for a 3 or 5 mile run, run/walk, walk or ruck. Everyone is welcome!
We kindly request that you DO NOT park in Big Ed's lot, which is small and leave it available for the regular customers. Plenty of parking available across the street at The Children's Advocacy Center and street parking all around The Stella. Limited parking at Bond & Bonds Law Offices but only in spaces and never on the grass.
Learn from the long time regulars and arrive early and pre-order your pizza before you run. Let then know when you want it ready and request it in a to go box.
Turn by turn routes are always provided prior to the run so that you can go at a pace that is comfortable for you. RunGo routes will also be available with links provided in the event comments/discussion.
We encourage you to hydrate during the day and bring hydration for your run and post run. It is also a great idea to bring something dry and to put on after the run.
We ask everyone to BE THOUGHTFUL. Provide encouragement to fellow runners and mindful of your language and conversation topics.
The goal is to SHARE THE ROADS, SIDEWALKS & PATHS. Don’t run more than two abreast, especially on busy roads and sidewalks. Bright colored clothing helps you to be more visible to motorists.
OBEY ALL TRAFFIC SIGNS. Pay attention to your surroundings, especially if your group is running on the road. Run against traffic on the roads. NEVER assume a driver is going to stop for you at an intersection even if you have the right-of-way.
The Huntsville Pub Run (Est. 2016) is just fun group of runners that meet weekly. There is no cost to join and we do not use sponsors for our weekly events. All food and beverage costs are at your expense and we ask everyone that chooses to drink to DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
