🔬 Hobby Night: Field Instruments

This week, we’re tinkering with Field Instruments — a night of invention, imagination, and hands-on making. Using wire, beads, foil, and embellishments, you’ll construct a faux scientific device or observational tool. Think of it like building relics from an explorer’s kit: abstract, curious, and visually striking.
👉 We highly encourage you to bring a small object of your own to serve as the base — a box, tube, container, gadget, or anything that feels like it’s waiting to be transformed. Found objects give your piece character, and we’ll supply the rest to help you turn it into something that looks like it came out of a laboratory, observatory, or expedition trunk.
