FPCTA & AAMU Bulldog Players Present A Midsummer Night's Dream

🎭 Join us for two public performances of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' performed by Alabama A&M University's Bulldog Bards!

✨ Adventure through a moonlit forest full of magic and mischief in the enchanted hilarity of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream! With fast-paced staging, playful music, and upbeat choreography, this 45-minute whirlwind comedy keeps every minute sparkling. Perfect as a first-time Shakespeare field trip, this new Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) production in partnership with Alabama A&M University invites middle schoolers to laugh, learn, and explore classic storytelling in Shakespeare’s most magical literary work!

📌 This workforce development program offers professional opportunities for students and alumni of AAMU. Artistic Director Stephen Tyler Davis works closely with Assistant Professor Jill Coon to create a curriculum that is the perfect blend of teaching foundational skills inside the classroom and developing young artists to prepare them for the first paid professional contract. This partnership is a commitment to workplace development and creating the next generation of artists here in Huntsville and beyond.
