Chess Tournament

The Huntsville Public Library will be hosting a chess tournament on Wednesday, March 11, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, minimum player age of 7! Registration will be from 3:30 - 3:50 pm on the day of the event. The tournament bracket will be organized by age groups ‘Under 18’ and ‘Over 18’. Volunteers will direct tournament play and keep the bracket updated. Chess Club meetings leading up to the tournament will focus on chess etiquette and tournament rules based on USCF standards. Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group. Refreshments and gifts will be shared with all.
