Becker Brewing Launch Party

Celebrate the return of a legendary piece of Ogden and Snowbasin history. Becker's Beer, founded in 1890 and once the largest brewery between Chicago and San Francisco, is back. In partnership with the Becker family and Proper Brewing, Snowbasin is bringing back this historic American-style Pilsner, recreated from the original 1960s recipe. Join us to taste this piece of Utah brewing history.

Join us March 6-8 from 10am to 4:30pm at Earl's Plaza to sample Becker's Mellow Beer. This authentic recreation uses the same malt and hop varieties from the original 1960s American-style Pilsner recipe, complete with vintage-inspired can design.

The Becker family was instrumental in developing winter sports in Ogden and was present at Snowbasin's original ribbon cutting in 1940. The Becker chairlift and Becker Face run honor their legacy at the resort. After 75 years of brewing and surviving both prohibition and two world wars, Becker's closed in 1965. Now, Snowbasin has partnered with the Becker family to bring this piece of Utah brewing history back.
