Discover wine like never before with "Wines in the Dark."
By removing the sense of sight, this immersive experience heightens your senses of taste and smell, offering an unforgettable journey into the world of wine. Hosted by WoodWinters Wines & Whiskies, an award-winning Scottish wine merchant known for its expertly curated selection of wines from sustainable, family-run producers worldwide.
The evening begins at 6:30 PM in the Club Room in Huntly, with a welcome drink. From there, you will move to the adjoining Bank Restaurant for the tasting experience.
For the tasting, we’ll provide you with a blindfold to wear as you sample four carefully selected wines from exceptional vineyards around the world. Each wine will be paired with a bespoke canapé to enhance its flavours. These will be served before and after each course. Therefore, you will be presented with a wine and canapé pairing before your starter, between your starter and main course, between your main course and dessert, and after your dessert.
Between tastings, you will enjoy a three-course meal, expertly designed to complement the wines being served. While blindfolds are worn during the wine and canapé tasting, you may remove them during the main meal.
The evening concludes back in the Club Room.
