One of the greatest American films of all time, a winner of 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, Clark Gable, Vivien Leigh, Olivia de Havilland and Hattie McDaniel star in this classic epic of the American South. Based on the 1936 novel by Margaret Mitchell, and set against the backdrop of the American Civil War and Reconstruction, the story follows Scarlett O’Hara (Gable), the rich, beautiful daughter of a plantation owner, and her romance with a war profiteer named Rhett Butler (Leigh).
