Spoken Word at Mighty Kindness hosted by the much beloved Rock Emmert!
In a spirit of making art a more vital part of our community, Spoken Word Night--a vibrant blend of stories, poems, essays, and songs--began at SOZO Coffee Cafe in Jasper, Indiana, March of 2008 and has migrated to numerous Ferdinand, Indiana, coffee houses and restaurants monthly ever since. Old friends and new, from all walks of life, currently meet the second Thursday of each month, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm ET, in the theatre of St. Benedict's Brew Works on the monastery campus in Ferdinand. All are welcomed.
