DKMS UK BIG CHEEKENDER!!
When: Saturday 27th SEPTEMBER 10am- 2pm
Where: BLENHEIM PRIMARY SCHOOL
We are on a life saving mission. In 2023 Terry was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukaemia and needed an urgent stem cell transplant. At the time, there was no matching donor on the worldwide stem cell registry. Devastating news no family ever wants to hear.
So…What are you doing on Saturday 27th September between 10am-2pm? Why not come along and join the stem cell register, by just giving a quick swab of your cheek, just a few minutes of your time and you can become a life saver.
If you are between 17 and 55, please consider coming and registering to be a stem cell donor with DKMS. If you are outside of this age range please spread the word to family and friends to come along on the day.
My Dad was lucky, he found a donor. But there are thousands of children and adults desperately hanging on…and you could hold their key to life.
Please come along to Blenheim Park School in Wicken Green on Saturday 27th September between 10am and 2pm where volunteers will be waiting to sign you up.
It’s just a quick cheek swab.
Look forward to seeing you there
To see the impact you could make see this video of young Finn who was also saved by an anonymous donor:
