2nd Annual Main Street Salsa Showdown!
Saturday, November 15th from 2pm-5pm
Location: Main Street Humboldt Bar
$5 for attendants to sample the salsas and cast their votes!
Winners will be decided by people’s choice and prizes will be awarded in 3 categories: Hottest, Best overall, Most Unique
Contest Details:
• No cost to enter your homemade Salsa!
• Contestants arrive early at 1:30pm, bring 2-3 quarts of salsa, a serving bowl and serving spoon for your salsa.
• Each contestant will be assigned a number, and a numbered place card will sit in front of their serving bowl. This number will be used for voting purposes. Card will also indicate hot, medium, or mild.
• Only homemade salsas can be entered. They can be freshly made or canned/preserved using hot water canning method.
• We will provide tortilla chips, plates, napkins, utensils, etc.
