'What We Choose to Remember' is a moving feature documentary by Guy Rex Rodgers that explores Quebec’s English-speaking communities—spanning those who lived through decades of cultural tension and those who arrived believing old divides had vanished. Drawing on over twenty hours of candid interviews, the film weaves personal stories, history, and reflection into a compelling portrait of history, identity, memory, and belonging.
Following the screening, join director Guy Rex Rodgers for an intimate talk-back session, He will answer audience questions, reflect on the stories that shaped the film and lead a discussion about the issues raised by the film.
