Join Wander Woman for a beginner friendly antlerless whitetail deer season!
Kick off the new year at our Ladies Beginner Doe Hunt, designed especially for women who want to experience the excitement and camaraderie of deer camp in a supportive, guided environment.
This hunt takes place during the second weekend of the antlerless season and is perfect for beginners ready to take their first step into deer hunting. You’ll hunt with an experienced guide, learn valuable skills, and enjoy the unique community that makes Wander Woman trips so special.
This event will be available to girls aged 16 and older to register. Any participants under the age of 18 will require a guardian during the event and the hunt. If you have a daughter under the ages listed above but would like to have them there with you for the experience of a women's only deer camp, please reach out to

*Anyone born on or after July 1, 1957 must be certified by an approved course in hunter education before they can hunt in Kansas, except that anyone 15 years old or younger may hunt without hunter education certification provided they are under the direct supervision of an adult 18 years old or older.

We encourage you to bring your own firearm or archery equipment. Each participant will be taken to and from their hunting spot during the hunt and transportation of your harvest to the lodge. We will teach you how to dress your harvest which includes field dressing and preparing your meat for the freezer!
This event limits one doe harvest per participant. Arrival time is 1:00pm. 2:00pm will be a required target shooting class before you can start to hunt Friday evening.
$500 fee includes:
-Lodging for two nights
-Meals Friday evening through Saturday evening.
-Optional hunting guide
-Blinds or tree stand to hunt out of
-Processing instruction for your harvest
Fee does not include:
-Travel to and from event
-Kansas hunting license
-Kansas harvesting tag
-Snacks outside of meals provided above
Tip to guide - Industry standard for tipping is 10-20% of event fee. Not all guides accept electronic tipping. Please bring cash to give to the guides that help you during this event.
