How Do You Do This, Anyway? Tips & Tricks for Crafting Your Story

Dive into the essentials of storytelling with practical tips, examples, and opportunities to practice the craft. This session will cover the dos and don’ts, providing you with the tools to become an effective storyteller. We’ll also unveil the Story Slam theme for those interested in workshopping and sharing a story with the community.

This event will be held at the Phipps Center for the Arts, Music Room.

Andrea Roske-Metcalfe is a writer, storyteller, and ELCA pastor. She’s a three-time Moth StorySLAM winner and a Moth GrandSLAM champion, and she teaches workshops and seminars on the craft of storytelling to groups of all shapes and sizes across the country. She serves as pastor alongside the people of Diamond Lake Lutheran Church, and lives in south Minneapolis with her spouse and their two kids.
