Celebrate 4 years of YCHWU at Willow River State Park in Hudson, WI

You Can Hike with Us is an inclusive hiking group for all skill levels. Our meetups are open to all adults (18+) who self-identify as women.

This month we are celebrating 4 years of You Can Hike With Us!

Location:

Willow River State Park - Nature Center: 020-1007-30, #000, Hudson, WI 54016 (Google maps directions linked.)

We will meet outside the nature center at Willow River SP. Upon entering the park's main entrance at 1034 Co Hwy A, Hudson, WI 54016, you'll continue forward past the main lot and drive ~2 miles to the Nature Center parking lot, which is also the main picnic area. Do not turn right at the entrance.

Cost:

$16 for day pass for non-WI vehicles, $13 for WI vehicles.

If you plan on hiking a few state parks in WI, it may be helpful to purchase an annual pass. ($50 for non-WI vehicles, $28 for WI vehicles.) Purchase WI park pass here.

To be respectful of time, we will do quick intros and embark on our hike around 10:05am. Please ensure you allow enough travel time to arrive by 10am.

Hike:

We plan to hike Little Falls to Willow Falls trails, approximately 4 miles out and back. This trail is unpaved and has a few hills. This specific route is not available on AllTrails. Expect this hike to take 1.5-2 hours depending on group pace and trail conditions. Park map.

What to bring: Hiking boots/sneakers with good traction, dress in layers for the weather, sunglasses, sunscreen, phone/camera, water, snacks.

Due to the larger group setting, no dogs or pets unless they are working/service animals.

We will cap sign-ups at 40 attendees. This ensures everyone joining us has a comfortable hiking experience and avoids negatively impacting the experience of others recreating on the trails.
