- Att bli en queer ljudträdgård - en röstworkshop med Indra Tir Linderoth på Konsthall C
"Som ljudkonstnär, röstnerd, skådespelare och performer älskar jag att gå på upptäcktsfärd i ljudlandskap och skapande-processer tillsammans med andra.
Jag är intresserad av vibrationer och hur de förbinder oss med varandra; Ljudvågor som väver samman flera kroppar till en kollektiv kropp - en slags ekolodning där rösten sträcker sig mot det som inte ännu har språk, men ändå känns.
Med tanken om ljudande som ett universellt språk kommer jag att guida dig genom några av mina metoder för röstarbete och närvaro. Under workshopen kommer du få tips och övningar för hur du kan värma upp rösten så att den håller.
Vi kommer även jobba utforskande och undersöka vad en queer röst kan vara. Vi varvar röstövningar med reflektioner och ljudande.
Denna workshop riktar sig till queera personer som är nyfikna på eller vill vidareutveckla relationen till sin egen röst. Efter avslutad workshop hoppas jag att jag väckt ditt intresse för röst som uttrycksmedel samt att du blivit inspirerad att använda din röst på nya sätt. / Indra Tir Linderoth

Indra Linderoth (f. 1984) är en queer skådespelare, performanceartist, röstcoach, ljudkonstnär och musiker; en av grundarna till scenkonstduon OFF HIGHWAY och del av nätverket Queers Against Fascism. Hon/Hen är en multidisciplinär konstnär som jobbar med mellanmänskliga relationer och lyssning.
”Jag arbetar i skärningspunkten mellan scenkonst, ljudkonst och performance, där rösten fungerar både som verktyg och budbärare – ett sätt att lyssna snarare än att hävda.
I mitt konstnärskap intresserar jag mig för skevhet, sårbarhet och queera kroppars relation till plats, minne och kollektivitet. Jag söker efter uttryck som inte bara kommunicerar – utan skapar förbindelse.”

Hen har dels varit anställd som skådespelare på Ung Scen Öst där hen medverkat i föreställningen Queer High, dels komponerat ny musik med utgångspunkt i Euripides text till Scenkonstgruppens uppsättning av Backanterna.

Expansion, Audibility and Listening
– Becoming a Queer Sound Garden - A voice workshop with Indra Tir Linderoth at Konsthall C
As a sound artist, voice nerd, actor, and performer, I love to explore soundscapes and creative processes together with others.
I’m interested in vibrations and how they connect us to each other; sound waves that weave several bodies into one collective body — where the voice reaches toward what doesn’t yet have language, but can still be felt.
With the idea of sounding as a universal language, I will guide you through some of my methods for voice work and presence. During the workshop, you’ll receive tips and exercises on how to warm up your voice and keep it strong.
We will also explore and investigate what a queer voice can be. The workshop alternates between vocal exercises, reflection, and sounding.
This workshop is aimed at queer people who are curious about or want to further develop their relationship with their own voice.
By the end of the workshop, I hope to have sparked your interest in the voice as a means of expression and inspired you to use your voice in new ways.

ABOUT
Indra Linderoth (b. 1984) is a queer actor, performance artist, voice coach, sound artist, and musician; one of the founders of the performance duo OFF HIGHWAY and part of the network Queers Against Fascism. She/They is a multidisciplinary artist working with human connection and listening.
“I work at the intersection of performing arts, sound art, and performance, where the voice functions both as a tool and a messenger — a way of listening rather than asserting.
In my artistic practice, I’m interested in queerness, vulnerability, and queer bodies’ relationship to place, memory, and collectivity. I seek expressions that don’t just communicate — but create connection.”

Master in Contemporary Performative Arts, University of Gothenburg, 2014–2016
They have worked both as an actor at Ung Scen Öst in the performance Queer High, and composed new music based on Euripides’ text for Scenkonstgruppen’s production of The Bacchae.
