Uniform and Kit Swap 2025

1st Holme Valley Scouts are organising a uniform and kit swap on Sunday 7th September from 10am to 11am for all of our Scouting families, held at HQ.

We are encouraging everyone to bring out-grown and unused uniform, outdoor clothing, camping kit and hiking gear, to swap with others and acquire whatever clothing and kit they may need for their children to continue their journey through Scouting. There will be uniform and kit for all sections, as well as opportunity for the parents to come swap kit too! And if you don’t have anything to come and swap, come along and pick up what you need - we will have donation buckets out for this purpose, for attendees to pay what they can afford/see fit.

This event is to encourage circular and continued use of clothing and equipment that’s not yet at the end of it’s usable life-cycle.

Please do feel free to drop unwanted uniform and kit off to store in out kit cupboard any time prior to the event.
