BIKE ESCORT MEET from 13:00 at Huddersfield Funeral Home 106 St Thomas' Rd, Huddersfield HD1 3LL.
(We would like some Ex & serving military bikers & any public bikers to help escort Bob on his last ride please, military flags can be flown on bikes).
Leaving at 13:30.
Going to Fixby Cematorium.
Bugler needed, standard bearers needed, foot soldiers & guard of honour, dress code - usual attire of blazers, head dress and medals if owned.
Please be at Huddersfield Fixby Cemetary HD2 2JF at 13:45 for 14:00 service.
SSgt Bob Fairclough REME. 1971-1993
We need: a guard of honour and a bike escort if possible.
A proud veteran, and avid supporter of military charities including our own Tommy’s Voice.
Served mainly in Germany with tours in Cyprus.
Attached to many different regiments during his 22 years including Parachute Regt and SF in Belize.
Passed away peacefully last week after a long battle with cancer.
We will follow the Hearse through Huddersfield to Fixby Cematorium.
Park up, and form up with the guard of honour prior to him coming out the back of the hearse.
The wake will be at The Croppers Arms 136 Westbourne Rd, Marsh, Huddersfield HD1 4LF.
