Farnley Ride Open Day
One of the joys of horse riding is exploring acres of countryside, roaming through woodland and cantering across open grassland.
At our Farnley Ride, you’ll discover all of this and more. Set in some of Yorkshire’s most stunning countryside, the 5-mile farm ride, which starts from Field Lane is designed to suit all abilities, from absolute beginner to the more advanced horse rider.
For the more adventurous, our farm ride offers optional jumps, which vary in size from small logs to bold cross country riding fences.
It’s a great day out and refreshments are available on-site during the open day.
Times
On the day, riders can set out on course from 9.30am.
Horse ride location
The Farnley Ride starts from Field Lane, Farnley Tyas, Huddersfield HD4 6UQ, which is opposite the Golden Cock pub in the centre of the village.
There is a large flat field offering onsite parking for cars, horseboxes and trailers, with easy access for unloading and loading.
