Crumpet making demonstration and cooked over an open fire

As part of the Slawit Shop Exhibition we have a crumpet making demonstration. The crumpets will be cooked over an open fire and you are welcome to taste them if you wish.

Built in 1925, Slawit SHOP! has documented 100 years of shopping on Carr Lane parade; uncovering fascinating stories and creating a public archive of local heritage and social history.
