How to Plant a Stone Fruit Guild for Fall Planting

If you are looking to have a peach, plum, nectarine, or olive tree on your property - fall is a great time for planting! This "class with a cause" at A Natural Farm will be taught by Kris Edler, from PermacultureFX.

In this class, you will learn:

• What varieties of stone fruit produce the best in Central Florida
• Optimal layout options for planting design
• Tips on maximizing production
• When to feed and amend soil for stone fruit
• What companion plants will work together with your tree
• How to plant and install for faster yield
• Strategies for watering less and eating more

After the class, Kris (from PermacultureFX) will be available to answer questions and help you pick out plants for your property. Also, any consultations booked that day with PermacultureFX will receive a free plant from his personal collection.

A Class with a Cause

Proceeds from this "pay what you can" class will go toward purchasing / planting fruit trees for Central Florida families who need a boost. Sadly, there are many families who do not have access to quality grocery stores or organic produce. In fact, there are areas of Florida (yes, even today) that are considered food deserts, because fresh produce is not readily available (even within a 30 mile radius). So, this holiday season, we want to give families the ability to grow their own food and experience fresh produce on their properties.

If you can only pay $5 for this class - that's ok. If you can pay $5,000 - that's great too.
