Join us for a cozy and festive Winter Mug Handbuilding Workshop, the perfect way to celebrate the magic of the season! In this 2-hour class, you’ll handcraft your very own winter-themed mug from stoneware clay slabs, guided step-by-step by our instructors. We'll help you create our whimsical snowball mug with a cheerful snowman face on one side, classic coal buttons on the other, and a sweet twisted handle.
$10 ticket holds your seat, and you’ll pay the remaining $35 at the workshop (total project cost is $45, including all materials, glazing, and firing).
This workshop welcomes all experience levels—from first-time clay explorers to seasoned makers. It’s a wonderful opportunity to unwind, get creative, and embrace winter’s cozy charm. All materials and tools are provided; just bring your enthusiasm and love for the season. By the end, you’ll have a handmade mug perfect for sipping hot cocoa, tea, or coffee on snowy days.
The workshop takes about 2 hours to complete. Recommended for ages 16 and up; teens ages 13–16 may register with a paid adult. Your piece will be fired within 10 days, then dipped and glaze fired. We expect finished mugs to be ready for pick up within 3 weeks.
Glazing Policy: This mug will have it's details glazed at the workshop and then it will be dipped into our white opal glaze for a final glaze firing, making this class a single visit clay workshop.
