In this fun and beginner-friendly clay handbuilding class, you’ll create a personalized ceramic bowl for your pet using stoneware clay and glaze—a premium material that’s dishwasher, microwave, and weather safe. Whether you have a tiny tabby or a big pup, you can choose to make two small bowls or one large bowl to suit your pet’s needs. This is a handbuilding class, you will build your bowl from clay slabs and return after it is bisque fired to glaze it (10 days or less to return to glaze).
We’re excited to offer this higher-quality clay option! Stoneware is not only more durable, but it also uses special glazes you'll get to learn about during your return visit to glaze your bowl. This is a two-visit class—your first session is for making your bowl, and the second is for glazing it after it has been kiln-fired (firing takes about 10 days).
