Ancient Irish Shamanism: The Way of the Seabhean

The Shamanic tradition goes back over many thousands of years. Each clan or grouping of people held in reverence the Shamanic Way. This Way allows a person to walk between the worlds; recognizing the interconnectedness between all living forces both seen and unseen. Journeying into these worlds for healing, for answers, for visions, brings a sense of continuity, wholeness and integration for self and for the clan.
The Seabhean is the wise woman who crosses the path between the worlds. She holds the presence and abilities of the Shaman and the wisdom of the wise Cailleach (Crone). The Way of the Seabhean is a spiral path of reclaiming and remembering all that we carry in honour of our ancestors – to stand in the essence and presence of Self.
The blood calls and the bones ache for remembrance - remembrance of who you are and what you carry. Let us sit together Sisters, let us sit and Journey into our roots. Let us remember what pumps in our ancient memories. Let us walk the spiral way back and down, in and out, forward and up. Let us remember the stories that we carry within ourselves.
Over the course of the workshop, you will gain an understanding of:
Explanation of the Ancient Irish Shamanic Way.
The three worlds: Lower, Middle and Upper.
Soul Retrieval and Cutting the Ties.
Journeying with your totems and ancestral teachers.
Understanding the ancient Wheel of the Sun.
Using Drumming, rattle, dance, chants and sound.
Learning outcomes:
· Increase your awareness of operating within the realms of Betwixt and Between.
· Learn to journey to your foremothers & recognise the patterns you carry in honour of them.
· Gain a deeper understanding of how you operate.
· Awareness of the interconnection of all of life around you & your participation within it.
· Begin the process of reclaiming your sovereignty.
· Balancing yourself within the great weave of our Mother Earth
During our time together, we will follow ancient pathways to release family issues and personal blocks. We will work with nature, with sound and with movement: gathering our fragments together. We will drum, express and gain inspiration from this work.

Amantha Murphy is a Shamanic Teacher and Healer and follows the path of the Goddess. She started her spiritual work publicly in 1970 as a clairvoyant and moved into trance mediumship and healing within a few years. She developed many tools along the Way with her spirit and ancestral teachers guiding her, and continues to work with both individuals and groups, at home and internationally. She is a Mother of four and Grandmother of four, living in County Kerry, Ireland, and working primarily with the Land, Rites of Passage, and Ancient Goddess Pilgrimages. CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT POLICY
A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to secure your spot. Balance due by September 1, 2025 to receive the total price of $575. Balances paid after September 1, 2025 will be a total price of $625.
Refunds minus the $100 non-refundable deposit will be given until 30-days prior to workshop date. Refunds will not be given after that date. Exceptions are not made to this policy. No refunds are given for no-shows or non-completion of program.
The minimum number of participants for this course is 10 people. We reserve the right to cancel this workshop for any reason including less than minimum number of participants registered. In the event of hosts cancelling the workshop, you will receive 100% refund of monies paid for registration.
All refunds will be made in the form of a check made out to the listed Registrant and sent to the address listed on the registration form.
