Earth Science Week ~ Honey Run Falls ~ Ohio Geological Survey

Welcome to a Wonderland, we've got it all. Beautiful scenery decorating Autum with a natural waterfall. Surrounded by Black Hand sandstone, showing off steep cliffs. The Ohio Geological Survey will be teaming up with us for Earth Science Week and explain how this all exist.

Come join in for the start of the Ohio Geological Surveys Earth Science Week on October 12, 2025. Meet us at Honey Run Waterfall at 1pm. Park in the parking lot and meander over to our meeting point directly across the street. Mike Angle and friends from the Ohio Geological Survey along with Friends of the Kokosing Science River will be delighted to greet you!

We will wander back in time and learn the geological history of Honey Run Falls. Proven tales from many moons ago will unfold the further we go. Let's take a walk in the past. This is an adventure that will make memories last. Do you have a special fossil you previously found? Bring it along, it might be profound.
