There will be apple butter and fresh pressed apple cider, locally made bread smothered in apple butter, caramel apples, apple cider donuts, hard cider and wine for visitors over the age of 21.
Stay for lunch and enjoy BBQ chicken on the grill or hot dogs for the kids. You will also find a variety of local cheeses and spreads and locally made bread, maple syrup, saw scroll art and more for sale.
Vendors will be located throughout the historic property. All food and drinks range in price from $1.50 to $12. CASH is preferred. But credit cards accepted.
Just $5 at the gate!
Children and families will be able to participate in pumpkin painting, straw-bale climbing, fall crafts, a Victorian dress-up photo booth, watch cider being pressed, tour the mansion and furnace, and listen to live music played throughout the day by The Stevedores – all for free with your admission ticket to Apple Fest.
Back by popular demand are the goats and bunnies from McHugh Family Farm. A fee of $3 is charged for petting and photos with the animals.
It's all happening at Eagle Iron Works and Curtin Village on October 18.
