We have reserved the B camp area, 20 sites, including the shelter house and adjacent shaded tent camping. Camping available in A area after B fills up. Early arrivals are OK be sure to tell them you're with the Coleman group. Those camping in RVs or arriving early should call the camp office for a reservation.
The rate for tent camping (or those sleeping in the back of their trucks) is $15.00 per head per night. The group rate assumes we're putting 2 tents on each site. The sites are very large and mostly shaded. Plenty of room for EZ ups.
RVs will be charged the regular rate of $45.00 per night for 2 adults and minor children. 30 amp electric and water on each site though I suggest you bring your own drinking water.
Everyone must register at the office. If you're sharing space with someone who already has reserved a site you still have to sign in and pay for additional people on that site.
For additional RV space, just beyond the shower house is the A camp area. There were some Coleman people camped there last year and it was a an easy walk to those campsites. They have 30 amp service, same stinky water and back up to a row a shade trees. The other overflow option is the C area closer to the river.
Located on the Kokosing river, the campground offers canoeing and other activities like putt putt golf, a driving range, a nice swimming pool, basketball and volleyball.
Gang, I received the following email from Mark Hoskey, the organizer for the Ohio Summer Gathering-Kokosing. Has some insightful info for those attending!
More from Mark Hoskey, official event organizer: "Hi, Aaron, You certainly may direct any questions about the Ohio Gathering to me. I suspect some members of Ohio Coleman Collectors have attended this gathering in the past.

Though it is advertised as a weekend event, many people come early and stay all week. Others just come for a day visit and that’s fine too.
Either way, everyone needs to sign in at the camp office for insurance purposes. The Ohio Gathering is a very casual get together with no organized meals or events. Weather permitting there is usually a light up at the shelter on Saturday evening. Last year there was a blow torch light up too.
Thanks,
Mark Hoskey
