Established by the MFAH to honor Bayou Bend’s founding director emeritus, the David B. Warren Symposium has been presented biennially since 2007. “American Legacies,” the 2025 edition, explores the lasting impact that Ima Hogg and her collecting friends had on the study of American art and antiques both in Houston and across the country.

Tickets:
Admission offers access to the symposium on both days, including the post-keynote-talk reception on Friday; all-day presentations and box lunch on Saturday; and BBQ reception at Bayou Bend on Saturday evening. Transportation between the MFAH campus and Bayou Bend is provided. Workshop tickets are purchased separately.
