RIFT: a balloon installation by DJ Morrow

RIFT is a fine art balloon sculpture installation created by DJ Morrow, on display at the 8th Wonder Brewery for one weekend only, August 29th - 31st. Sculpture unveiling is at 7pm Aug 29th.

The sculpture is a contemplation on the irreversible nature of destruction.

DJ Morrow is a Houston-based balloon twister turned fine artist. He uses detailed sculptures and dramatic lighting to create images and in-person exhibitions that push the boundaries of what's accepted and expected out of balloon art. Exploring themes like grief, identity, religion, and politics, Morrow believes the unique ephemerality of the medium combined with its mass appeal has the potential to change the world.
