Legendary guitarist Pat Metheny returns to DACAMERA with a new version of his Side-Eye project, giving a platform to new and upcoming musicians who have particularly caught his interest. As a teenager, Metheny regularly jammed with Kansas City’s best jazz musicians, an inspiring experience of sitting in with more mature players. Side-Eye honors that tradition.
Metheny has a catalogue of 50-plus recordings that have scored 39 Grammy nominations and 20 wins in 12 different categories. Over the years, he has won countless polls as "Best Jazz Guitarist" and numerous awards, including three gold records.
