Come on the journey with the Houston Grand Opera as audiences explore the artform of opera and learn how singers use voice and music to tell stories! Experience a variety of songs, emotions, and language through this 60-minute, high-energy production.

Music-Stories-OPERA! is a concertized version of HGO’s Meet an Opera Singer and Opera Up Close programming, featuring three of HGO’s talented singers- the perfect vehicle for introducing students, families- EVERYONE!- to opera!

Opera to Go! is a fully-staged, high-energy, 45-minute opera, sung entirely in English and designed with students in mind. Opera to Go! is performed across countless schools and community venues all over the greater Houston region as well as to further regions in the great State of Texas.

The mission of Houston Grand Opera is to enrich our diverse community through the art of opera by creating, curating, exploring, and producing outstanding experiences centered around the human voice.
