Ms. Melba's Fundraiser Brunch

This year marks a powerful milestone—18 years since Melba St. Andrews-Prevot founded MPJ Academy of Excellence. After retiring from more than 20 years of service in public schools, Ms. Melba chose not to rest, but to serve. Her vision was clear: create a school where adults and at-risk learners could return, complete their education, and reclaim their futures.

That vision lives on today through the Webb School System, serving youth and adults with Literacy, Leadership, and C’MUNITY values.

Join us for Ms. Melba’s Founders Brunch, a celebration of legacy, progress, and purpose. Together, we will honor the past while investing in the future.

This year’s brunch has a special mission—raising $30,000 to launch new Career Technical Education programs, adding trades and workforce pathways to the Webb School System. These programs will empower our students with practical skills, opening doors to sustainable careers and lifelong stability.
