MERCURY CHAMBER ORCHESTRA: STRINGS IN CONVERSATION

Come to the evening of music performed by two exceptional string masters from Mercury Chamber Orchestra — violinists Jonathan Godfrey and Oleg Sulyga. This exclusive concert takes place on Tuesday November 4 at 7:30 PM and is part of the Lilia Khakimova and Robert Bunch Concert Series.

From the refined elegance of Bach and Telemann to the classical charm of Mozart and the expressive romanticism of Glière this concert offers a rare opportunity to hear chamber music performed by two of Mercury Chamber Orchestra string players in an intimate setting.

Jonathan Godfrey a founding member of Mercury brings his signature vibrancy to the violin while Oleg Sulyga’s rich musical dynamism complete the string duo. Together they promise a performance that bridges centuries of musical genius.

Program highlights include pieces adapted for string duet by J.S. Bach G.P. Telemann W.A. Mozart and R. Glière.
