Men Are Write: Cups & Conversations

Join Authors Jamaur Barnes and Jarrid Harris on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM for our monthly Men Are Write meetup and brotherhood gathering. Location: Yes Prep, North Rankin Elementary (12537 Kuykendahl Road, Houston, TX 77090).

This space is intentionally created for men to journal, reflect, and discuss the topics that matter most to us. Together, we’ll dive into meaningful dialogue, participate in interactive activities, and create room for honesty, healing, and connection.

We’ll provide all journaling materials along with a full coffee and hot chocolate bar—you just bring your willingness to participate. B.Y.O.B. – Bring Your Own Breakfast. Feel free to stop and grab something on your way and enjoy it during the session. If you already have a Men Are Write journal or your own journal, bring it!

Whether you’ve never journaled before or you’re a seasoned writer, whether you’re an introvert or extrovert, this space is for every man. There’s no pressure to share—just come as you are and explore your thoughts in a supportive environment built for you.

This event is open to ages 17 and up.
