A Historic Moment for Black Nurses in Houston:
On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, Houston will officially recognize Black Nurses Week® with a city-issued proclamation. The proclamation ceremony is swift but powerful—only a few minutes, but a moment Black nurses in Houston have waited on for generations.
The ceremony is free and open to the public. Your $40 RSVP reserves your place at the private celebration and networking event immediately afterward and helps cover venue, and event expenses ensuring Black nurses have space to gather, not just a line in the record. You will receive 1 drink ticket + 1 BNW branded gift.
