2026 Missing in Southeast Texas Day

The 12th annual Missing in Southeast Texas Day will be hosted at the Children’s Assessment Center, Saturday, May 2, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Searching families and investigators from all counties and law enforcement agencies are welcome!

Law enforcement from across Southeast Texas and local/national missing persons networks will be at #MissingInSETX Day to take missing persons reports, enter missing persons into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) databases, and take VOLUNTARILY-SUBMITTED familial DNA samples (via cheek swab) used for identification.

To date, #MissingInSETX Day resources have led to 31 successful identifications and family reunifications!
