The Afro-American Police Officer League cordially invites you to our Annual Awards Gala Saturday, the thirteenth of September two thousand twenty-five. The theme for the gala is “History of AAPOL” as we dedicate the evening to raising money for college-bound youth.
The elegant Ballroom at Bayou Place is in downtown Houston and is the perfect location as we celebrate the AAPOL Awards. The evening begins with hors d’oeuvres during the registration period. Gregory "SaxMan" Daniels will provide musical entertainment during the reception period.
Public figure and television personality Isiah Carey will host the Award Gala. The gala will include a three-course gourmet meal in a spacious and beautiful venue.
Officers will be recognized for exceptional achievement in Valor, Crime Prevention, Investigations, Community Relations, and Innovative Approaches to Police Services. We will present awards for Officer of the Year, Patrol Officer of the Year, Investigator of the Year, Supervisor of the Year, Civilian of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
The social period will be hosted by DJ Mr. Rogers and will include prize give away and Gala themed entertainment activities.
